Los Nogales Farm
Farm Story
Oscar’s journey with coffee is deeply rooted in his family’s tradition and unwavering passion. Although his family had been involved in coffee for many years, it was winning the prestigious Cup of Excellence in 2005 that truly ignited their enthusiasm for producing specialty coffee. Then, in 2013, tragedy struck when Oscar’s father passed away. This deep sorrow only strengthened the resolve of Oscar and his siblings to carry on their father’s dream and continue crafting the highest quality coffee.
With a firm commitment to honoring his father's legacy, Oscar transformed the family farm by introducing a microbiology lab and cupping facilities, elevating their production to world-class standards. Today, the farm is internationally acclaimed and stands as a testament to Oscar’s belief that coffee is more than just a crop—it is a culture, a form of love, and a tradition passed down through generations.
In 2023, Oscar partnered with GOOD COFFEE FARMS and began environmentally friendly coffee production using an innovative bicycle-powered depulper. He praises the machine as a groundbreaking tool that opens new possibilities in coffee processing. Looking ahead, Oscar remains eager to explore new methods and deepen his passion for the world of coffee.
