Drip Coffee Bag- Koji Process Honey (9 pack)
Farm Story
Naranjales is a farm gifted to Carlos, the CEO and Founder of GOOD COFFEE FARMS, as a token of gratitude for his significant contributions to the community.
The farm is named after the many orange trees (called naranja in Spanish) that grow on the land. These natural shade trees help coffee plants thrive while also creating a stunning landscape. Carlos uses all the revenue generated from this farm to give back to the community, and it also serves as a testing ground for experimental cultivation and processing.
About This Coffee
This specialty coffee uses the Pache variety grown in the highlands of Guatemala and is fermented with Japanese koji mold. It’s a fusion of Guatemalan craftsmanship and traditional Japanese fermentation—an extraordinary combination. The unique fermentation process enhances the natural sweetness and complexity of the coffee, delivering bright notes of tropical fruit, lime, and elderflower.
This special coffee was created by founder Carlos Melen to commemorate his 25th year in Japan. It also coincides with the 90th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Guatemala and Japan. It marks a major milestone in Carlos’s mission to revolutionize coffee, exploring sustainable solutions by incorporating ancient Japanese fermentation techniques. This is a step toward a more sustainable future and a challenge to deliver truly GOOD coffee to everyone.
