Cascara is the dried peel of the coffee cherry—a true superfruit. Naturally rich in polyphenols, antioxidants, and dietary fiber, it supports immune health, helps reduce inflammation, and combats oxidative stress. With its gentle sweetness and fruity complexity, cascara is both delicious and functional—offering a perfect balance of flavor and wellness. In fact, it contains nearly 10 times more polyphenols and antioxidants than blueberries or açaí.
Our eco-friendly bicycle-powered pulper, which requires no water, electricity, or fuel, is used to process the coffee cherry and collect the Cascara—reflecting our commitment to sustainability and being GOOD for the planet.
By upcycling cascara, we reduce waste, prevent water pollution, and create new income opportunities for over 250 smallholder farmers in our network.
UPCYCLE CASCARA PRODUCTS
Since 2017, we’ve been experimenting with cascara—conducting hundreds of tests to achieve the highest quality possible.
• We’ve developed cascara products using more than 12 different coffee varieties.
• We currently hold over 2 tones of cascara in our warehouse and can supply at scale.
• Our cascara, rigorously tested in Tokyo labs, is pure, safe, and packedwith polyphenols and antioxidants—up to 7 times more than blueberries. With only 0.044 mg of caffeine per 200 g, it’s a superfood beverage that’s virtually caffeine-free.
