YNK COLLABORATION
From the Edo period, the richness of the "YNK Area" food culture.
The YNK (Yaesu-Nihonbashi-Kyobashi) area where our shop is located was a town where artisans and merchants gathered from all over Japan to supply goods to Edo Castle and provide food.
Nihonbashi became a fish market (Uogashi), and Kyobashi became a green grocer's market (Daikon-gashi), allowing for the gathering of various ingredients. Additionally, many artisans from different regions, unable to prepare meals at home due to solo assignments, led to the emergence and development of Edo's food culture, including sushi and soba stalls. Even today, this area boasts many longstanding eateries from the Edo period, allowing one to experience the richness of Japanese food culture in daily life.
With the aim of allowing everyone visiting this area to experience the charm of these old yet wonderful traditions and culture, a special collaboration product has been created.
