Coffee tree coaster (stump)

A coaster made from coffee trees that have been scrapped by logging and pruning.

 Coffee trees are replanted and pruned in many farms every year and are just scrapped and left in the mountains. Many residents still use it as firewood for cooking, but it is only a small part of the amount that is cut down. Some trees are about 50 years old and are hard and durable, but they were not popular because they were thin and difficult to reuse.

 In 2018, Carlos saw a tree abandoned in the mountains and asked a carpenter in a small town with a farm to use it for something. He was a carpenter who made furniture by himself and had never made small things. However, through trial and error every day, we continued to make it patiently, and in 2019, we completed a product with quality that would please Japanese people.

 In 2019, we launched a brand that reuses waste wood from coffee trees as Real Coffee Wood, and we also sell original wood products. For example, from coffee-related items such as coasters, spoons, and trays, we also made chopsticks in the past and handled them at Tsutaya Bookstore.
